Rich Ross is an entertainment executive. He is currently Chairman of Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group.
Ross is originally from Eastchester, New York. His first job in the entertainment industry was as a booking agent at Nickelodeon. Later he was a senior vice president at Disney Channel and eventually became president of Disney Media Networks. He is credited with establishing the Disney networks as the prime entertainment source for the tween market with shows like Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire.[1] He was named Chairman of Disney's Motion Pictures Group in 2009.
